The Re:Purpose Program

IT’S TIME TO MOVE FROM CHAOS TO CLARITY IN LIFE AFTER MINISTRY.

HEY YOU.

You sensible, seasoned leader, you. You’ve had your fair share of leadership lessons over the years. Now you’ve decided to enter a new season-without all the bells and big visions of ministry-and it feels like you’ve ended up in a career wilderness.

pssst…

you need a refresh button to manage this new life shift ...

…De-cluttered thoughts, without the negative shame spiral of the should haves and would haves, clear-headed focus that helps you remember what a bad-ass you are. You want to do meaningful work and continue leading even if it doesn’t fit the traditional paradigms of ministry.

DESPITE THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE AN ARSENAL OF SELF HELP TOOLS…

  • emotional intelligence

  • the enneagram

  • strengthsfinders

  • a podcast for this, a book for that

IT FEELS LIKE NOTHING COULD HAVE PREPARED YOU FOR THIS.

You still find yourself awake in the middle of the night asking these questions:

“What is my purpose? What is the right choice for the next stage? Is this step in generally the right direction or is it just a waste of time?”

TRANSITIONS ARE LIKE THE STAGES OF CULTURE SHOCK.

  • The Honeymoon

“I’ve got this change in the bag. It’s different here, but I am invincible! I can do this.”

  • Negotiation

“WE’RE NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE, TOTO. Oh God, what have I done? Where are my people? Who am I? What are my skills? Do they matter at this point?”

  • Adjustment

You are starting to feel more at peace with the unfamiliar and uncertainty of it all, the newness has worn off but so has the frustration. You have made some new connections that help you to process your new reality.

  • Adaptation

You feel less alone and isolated, and have been able to integrate the different parts of your life into a larger narrative. Life goes on with some fresh perspective.

Chances are if you’re reading this and alarm bells are going off, you have been stuck in the negotiation stage for a while and you’re wondering, “when are things going to be different? What does different even look like?”

Top that off with a nice dollop of “should have known betters” and your mind wanders down the nice little neuropathways of shame and guilt for leaving in the first place.

HEY THERE, YA BEAUTIFUL SOUL.

I’m Mallory Frances.

I SEE YOU

I’VE WALKED WITH MANY LEADERS FACING ANY NUMBER OF CHALLENGING TRANSITIONS AS THEY STRUGGLE TO MOVE FORWARD IN THEIR LIFE AND LEADERSHIP JOURNEY. TRANSITIONS LIKE:

  • BURNOUT AND COMPASSION FATIGUE

  • SINGLENESS AND PARTNERSHIP IN MINISTRY

  • SHIFTING TEAM DYNAMICS

  • ENTERING NEW CULTURES

  • MOVING INTO NEW LEADERSHIP POSITIONS

  • LEAVING CROSS-CULTURAL WORK ABROAD

LIFE TRANSITIONS ARE STRESSFUL.

I had to learn the hard way what kinds of things are helpful in these harrowing phases of our lives. When I left ministry abroad, I was completely frazzled, stressed out, and felt the pressure to DO SOMETHING SPECTACULAR now that my life was taking a different turn. My mind suffered months of mental fog, I couldn’t sleep, and I constantly questioned every decision I had ever made up to that point.

If I could go back and visit myself during that time, I would dish out a ton of grace (and ice cream), remind her that she was going to be okay, and offer the tips and tricks I learned along my journey of healing.

SPOILER ALERT: I’M HERE TO DO THAT FOR YOU.

I’m here to keep championing you on this pathway of joy- supporting you as you process challenges and encouraging you to keep stepping into the kick ass, present-over-perfect person you are becoming.

Andy, Toronto

“I really appreciated having Mallory as my coach throughout this Positive Intelligence program. Her positive, fun, and easy-going demeanour let me know right away I was in for a good time. And then her ability to empathize and understand helped me to be open and honest throughout the process. Even moments where she would challenge some of my assumptions were relatively easy to accept because of the gentleness and support behind these challenges. My experience with the Positive Intelligence program was a helpful one, and Mallory's role as a coach noticeably enhanced how helpful it was.”

THE BREAKDOWN

〰️

THE BREAKDOWN 〰️

WEEK 1: THEN AND NOW

Our first session will be based on prework form that involves questions regarding your experience in ministry, the circumstances surrounding your departure, your personality/style, your strengths and your hopes for the future.  What are the big picture ideas that are important for you to keep in mind as you go through this program? What are the questions that you are holding?

WEEK 2-7: PQ PROGRAM

This program builds 3 mental muscles by using mental exercises facilitated by an app, allowing you to gradually quiet the neural networks that work against you leading to increased stress and conflict, and build up the neural networks that help you manage stress, deepen joy and confidence, and enhance connection with others. Click here for a closer look at the program.

WEEK 8-12: FORWARD

Weekly 30 min sessions or 1 hour bi-weekly sessions based on your needs and goals and the self discovery you’ve gained through the mental fitness program.

FAQs

1. What if I don’t want to do the PQ program yet? Can I just try out coaching with you first?

  • Of course. We can discuss your specific questions and needs and figure out what will work best for your coaching journey.

2. I don’t think I can afford this right now. Are there other payment options?

  • Hey, I totally get it. I have varying payment plans that could help! I also don’t want to turn you away just because of lack of funds. I know how tough it can be. Let’s talk this through and see what we can do.

3. I’m not a fan of toxic positivity. How is the PQ program not just another example of this?

  • I hear you. There’s way too much avoidance and bypassing through an overemphasis on positivity these days. Toxic positivity involves suppressing negative emotions and experiences. In contrast, mental and emotional fitness allows you to take into account your negative emotions, get curious, and become more aware of default thought patterns that helped you survive as a child but now no longer serve you. It also allows you the opportunity to full embrace grief as a healthy emotion, honoring the memory and loss of people, opportunities, dreams, etc.

4. What if I decide that this program is not for me after I start?

  • Good news. This comes with a 100% money back guarantee. My only ask is that you try to make it through week 3, because it can take time for the mental foundations to set in.
